THE MARKET
Lena Lighting S.A. has been a leading producer of professional light fittings for investments for years. The value of Polish market is estimated at about PLN 900 million and Lena Lighting is ranking second among the producers here, with over 9% share (11% together with its subsidiary company, Luxmat) . Thanks to the cooperation with biggest electro-technical wholesalers and our own network of sales representatives, Lena Lighting’s fittings for investments can be found wherever the highest quality of lighting is required (see: our implemented projects). By developing the exports to 38 countries all over the world, Lena Lighting S.A. has achieved the position of an unquestionable leader among Polish exporters of professional illumination for investments, with 15% share in total exports. The main customers of the Company include the countries of Western Europe and new EU member states.
THE EXPANSION
Being a market leader in illumination for investments and making the full use of favourable business tendency in the construction industry, Lena Lighting S.A. is investing in new areas of the lighting market. By calling Sanneli Design brand into life, within the next 3 years we are going to assume the leading position, with a two-digit share on the market of decorative light fittings, which is estimated at PLN 500 million. After the success on the market of construction investments fittings, Lena Lighting S.A. is beginning its expansion on the market of fittings for road and railway investments, which is estimated at about PLN 100 million in 2007. The investments in Polish road and railway infrastructure, co-financed by the European Union, guarantee its constant growth.
THE RECOGNITION
Our dynamic development has been noticed by others. Since 2003, “Puls Biznesu” magazine has yearly awarded our Company with the prestigious title of a Gazela Biznesu (Business Gazelle). In 2005, we achieved the Dobra Firma (Good Company) title. A year later, we have been included, for the second time in row, in the elite group of 50 entrepreneurs nominated by “Rzeczpospolita” daily to this award. In 2006, we were declared by “Rzeczpospolita” as the most dynamic company from Wielkopolska and ranked 9th in “Home&Market” contest Lokomotywy Polskiej Gospodarki (Driving Engines of Polish Economy). The year 2007 was begun by ranking high in this contest and by ranking first in the Mistrzowie Budownictwa (Construction Masters) competition in the Lighting Producer category, also organized by “Home&Market”.
THE TECHNOLOGY
One of the foundations of Lena Lighting’s success is high quality of the fittings we produce. Since 2005, the Company has been operating within the ISO 9001:2000 system. Our specialists from the Development Department are constantly working on increasing quality standards. Our fittings meet very high norms for international certificates, which results in their reliability, long life cycle and energy-efficiency. Electronic systems increase the energy efficiency, at the same time improving the illumination quality. The use of energy-efficient fluorescent lamps and LEDs as sources of light gives us significant economic and environmental benefits. In 2006, Wielkopolskie Stowarzyszenie Badań nad Jakością (Wielkopolska Assiciation for Quality Research) has again awarded the Company with Najwyższa Jakość (Highest Quality) programme certificate.
